In the video this week the speaker talked about the rights of copyrights and how they apply to new forms of technology. I think that there is a fine line that must be walked in order to fulfill the needs of the new world while still protecting those that do this form of art. Like in business there are rights afforded to the artist to protect their ideas. These are important to allow for freedom of artists to create new art and not have it stolen from them. It is important to not only protect these but also allow for the free flow of ideas that is created in art. To both there will most likely need to be a huge shift in the way that these rules are enforced. This is a brand new area of human life and it will take time to adjust to, but in the end it will benefit all of humanity.
