I am currently in my second year of my Ph.D. program with Dr. Joshua Roering in the University of Oregon Earth Surface Processes lab.

My research focuses on soil organic carbon within hillslope hollows. There isn’t much known about soil organic carbon and their interaction with soils. In order to better understand our carbon budget as a whole, it is crucial to determine if these hollows act as a sink or a source of carbon.
