Ultrasonic Bat Detector

At the Price Science Commons / DeArmond MakerSpace, we provide training on how to build with electronic components.  Here is one of our popular projects,  an ultrasonic bat detector that picks up the high frequency echolocation calls of bats and downgrades the frequency to a level that humans can hear.  In Oregon, we have about 15 species of bats, each with their own set of calls.  With the receivers, we can identify the bats flying in our area.
