High Powered Rocketry – L1 Style

Our intrepid High Powered Level 1 Rocketeers.  All passed the L1 certification and are now members of an elite group.  The UO Rocketry team traveled to Brothers, Oregon for the OROC Spring Thunder public launch this May. Our students met others from Oregon State University, Oregon Institute of Technology, and Yamhill High School.  Weather was a bit iffy.  Winds came and went and the cloud ceiling fell towards the afternoon.  However, all team members managed to launch and recover their rockets intact.
