Cre8Con PDX – A Creative Benefit for the Arts

Xplane

One of the highlights of the Portland Cre8Con Conference is the after-event party at the Wacom Studio.  This is because Wacom has all its wares out on display for testing.  Their drawing tablets are pretty cool and allow for quick communication of ideas.  Furthermore, Tim May of Xplane, a graphic artist, shows off his skill at creating content on the tablets.  However, I must say, that it is good to have at least some artistic talent at drawing to help with the process, something I seem to lack.  I want to give a special shout out to Steve Gehlen, a University of Oregon computer science and mass media studies alumni, that makes most of this happen.
