3D Modeling & Conservation

One of our ongoing projects out of the Price Science Commons is a mapping project of the Oregon Country Fair (OCF) Property for enhancing conservation activities.  Click on the image above to get the YouTube video of our 3D model of one section of the fair property undergoing erosional activity.  We partnered with staff from the UO GIS/Map Library (S. Proctor) with P. Gordon of MeadowHawk Imagery and with MOST of  OCF.  Work is ongoing and we are creating many more detailed GIS layers in QGIS.  Click here for a link to this video.
