Next Generation Science Standards and ORESAT: Launching a cubesat into space

Through the Oregon Space Grant Consortium, Price Science Commons staff have worked with Portland State University’s Aerospace program on the plans to build and launch a cubesat micro-satellite in coming year (2019-2020). Students at PSU are actively building the satellite and we here at the University of Oregon cross-walked and mapped the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to the project.  This allows science teachers from around the state to utilize the project in their classrooms.   http://oresat.org/
