This week’s blog can be summed up by one word: cement. Cement has been poured for the building’s two roofs. The roofs will eventually be covered with river rock to give an attractive appearance to staff looking down on them from offices in Onyx and Klamath Halls. Also, the cement slab was poured for the upstairs social commons. In addition to cement pours, the walls of the staff offices and workroom have been plastered. The best news of all is that the women’s restroom closest to the library is reopening on Friday after being closed for ceiling strengthening and asbestos abatement.
