Save the date! A 300-ton crane is scheduled to lift steel into our construction site during the Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend in January. The steel will be lifted over Klamath Hall and into the site from the small parking lot just off Franklin Blvd.
If you’ve been in the Science Library recently you will have noticed the very narrow entrance hall shown in the attached picture. The area behind the wall has received its asbestos abatement and carbon fiber reinforcement in the ceiling and is now ready to open. A new wall is now in place and the temporary wall entrance wall will be coming down this Thursday evening. The attached photo shows what the new space looks like.
