They are really passionate on delivering unforgettable experiences and they keep on looking for new ways to enhance those experiences. We found a job on Indeed and the job title is “Business Analyst Specialist” located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Responsibilities
This business analyst position reports to the technology team and will be responsible for both project planning: validation of monthly financial schedules, aligning project delivery with the businesses technology and business strategies, partnering to identify innovative technologies in the marketplace and adjust schedules for unplanned and pull forward work and project delivery: user story development, gap analysis, risk mitigation, stakeholder analysis, business rule development, dependency mapping, user acceptance testing.
Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum 4 years business analyst experience or equivalent
-Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Demonstrated strong partnering, negotiating and consensus building skills
-Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as facilitation experience
-Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large complex projects or varying project types
-Demonstrated experience in eliciting, documenting and managing requirements over the Life Cycle.
-Demonstrate knowledge of Agile Methodologies including the writing of User Stories, involvement in SCRUM/KANBAN/LEAN, and project planning at a sprint and iteration level.
-Demonstrated proficiency in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
-Effective engagement and collaboration with a diverse set of clients, partners and senior level stakeholders with the ability to articulate their business needs into capabilities
-Knowledgeable of financial budgeting and forecasting
-Demonstrated understanding of value driven business results and metrics
-Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
After reviewing the job post, we went on Glassdoor to look at some reviews from past employees. Most pros include the benefits that came with the job at Disney and the most stated benefit was the ability to get into Disney for free. The only major con that we saw was that most people said the hours they got were very bad to the schedule they wanted. But overall, the Walt Disney Company stood by their values and beliefs. As a group, we decided that we love to work for Disney and it seems like a good company to work for.
