Dr. Cindy Brewer, professor and head of the geography department at Penn State will be visiting the department and S3C on May 9 & 10. Dr. Brewer is best well known for her ColorBrewer tool, which has helped countless cartographers and data scientist with perceptual color schemes for visualization. She will be giving a UO Geography Tea Talk titled “Systematizing Cartographic Design” on May 9.
