This week is gonna continue to challenge our team as we tie together all the pieces of our story. After an incredible interview with Jackie last weekend, we found some holes in our b-roll and storyline. We have scheduled another interview with Trish and a meeting with Jackie to fill those gaps so that our story is cohesive. Prior to going up to Portland this Saturday, we will dedicate our time to creating a shot list so we are focused and ready for our shoot.
Our final piece is slowly coming together and we are all excited to see what the final product will look like. Ten weeks is a short amount of time to turn around a story like this one and with more time we could tie in so many different testimonies on the topic of transition from prison to the outside. This does not discourage us, but rather keeps our minds open to continuing down this path in order to understand what these women struggle with and empathize. On to the next shoot!
