President – Emery Tunstill
Emery joined UOREIG as a freshman during the fall of 2023. He is pursuing a major in Business Administration with a concentration in finance within the honors program. After graduation, he hopes to combine his interests in finance and real estate and pursue a career in real estate finance. In his free time, Emery enjoys spending time outdoors, fly fishing, and traveling.
Vice President – Matt Gesl
Matt joined UOREIG as a freshman in the fall of 2022. He is pursuing a degree in economics with an undecided minor but has a love of real estate. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in commercial real estate while also investing in properties on his own with the hopes of one day starting a fund. This summer, he will be assisting with a broker while also helping out with potential land development deals at Capacity Commerical. In his free time, he enjoys browsing Zillow, reading philosophy, trying new restaurants, and taking long meditational walks.
Director of Finance – Devak Singh
Devak Singh joined UOREIG in the fall of 2022 as a sophomore, majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics. Drawn to the transformative potential of real estate investments in shaping communities and driving economic development, Devak is passionate about real estate and continually seeks opportunities to deepen his understanding of the industry. For the summer of 2024, he will be interning as a business analyst at an IT consulting firm and is looking forward to later applying the skills developed during this role to the real estate sector. In his free time, Devak enjoys trying new restaurants, skiing, and getting to know his peers within UOREIG.
Director of Marketing – Gracie Van Hoomissen
Gracie joined UOREIG the spring of her freshman year. She is majoring in Business Administration and is concentrating in finance or marketing. She’s interested in the real estate industry due to it’s endless career possibilities with like-minded, hardworking individuals. In her free time she enjoys working out, going to concerts, traveling, and making people laugh.
Director of Operatios – Stella Rabb
Stella joined OREIG the moment she could as she stepped on campus as a freshman this fall. After the first meeting, she knew she wanted to be a part of this club. She is pursuing a Business major with a concentration in entrepreneurship and/or finance. This summer, she plans to continue organizing and planning for the Oregon Real Estate Investment Group as the Director of Operations and Oregon Entrepreneurship Group as the Director of Professional Development. She will continue to work her role as Alumni Relations Assistant within Development and External Relations in the Lundquist College of Business throughout the summer. When it comes to graduation, Stella is a passionate entrepreneur who seeks to pursue her own entrepreneurial ventures and real estate projects through personal investment and collaboration; however, she is still interested in furthering a career within the real estate industry out of college. As of now, she is interested in learning more about industrial and middle housing projects and investments. In her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks & podcasts and spending time with friends & family.
