Pixar Co-founder Ed Catmull discusses keys to Pixar’s success in this interview. I particularly like this quote:
“When you start something new, you will make mistakes, and if you don’t make mistakes you’re either copying yourself or copying someone else.”
Think about that – if you aren’t making mistakes, you are copying. That is the opposite of creativity.
