You will receive your first memo back this week. To prepare to do the revision of this assignment, you are encouraged to visit a tutor. What follows is the process for signing up.
1. Follow this link and locate the desired date and time for the tutoring appointment. You can switch between weeks by clicking the left or right arrow buttons located at the top left corner of the calendar next to the “today” button. Appointments are split into 30 minute sessions. The first available appointment is on Monday January 23 at 9:00 AM. Appointments need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance of the desired time.
2. After locating the desired appointment date and time, click on the corresponding “BA 352 Tutoring” button (e.g. click on the “BA 352 Tutoring” button at 9:00 AM on Monday January 23). More than one button on an appointment time signifies that there are 2 tutors available at that time and therefore 2 appointments available.
3. After clicking the “BA 352 Tutoring” button, a box will pop up that says “Book an Appointment” at the top. In the “What” text box write your first and last name followed by your BA 352 class section (e.g. John Jeffries Stolle 2PM).
4. After finishing the “What” text box, click the “Save” button at the bottom of the pop up box.
5. The appointment is now booked. If you need to cancel the appointment for any reason, go to the Google Calendar homepage by clicking on the “Calendar” button located under the Google logo and search bar at the top of the page. This will take you to your personal Google Calendar. Next, locate the appointment on the calendar (it will be located at the date and time that the appointment was scheduled for). Click on the box that signifies the appointment (it should contain some abbreviation for “BA 352 Tutoring”). A pop up box that says “BA 352 Tutoring” will again appear. At the bottom left corner of the box are the words “Going? Yes|Delete.” To cancel the appointment without repercussions you need to cancel the appointment 24 hours ahead of the appointment time.
