What Employers Want From College Graduates

Here is some recent data on what employers want from college graduates that may be helpful for the BA352 class project.  This article from USA Today highlights a call for colleges to focus on broad learning outcomes and what employers say they want in college graduates.  While I don’t believe we should only look at what employers want, their desires map closely onto what we already say a liberal, or general, education should provide.  Here is a chart that outlines those skills in more detail. This was all part of some public opinion research conducted by the AAC&U found here.
