Rosario Navarro is a local organic farmer. She has been farming since she was just 7 years old on her family farm in Mexico. When she came to the U.S. in 1987 she started growing her own fruits and vegetables organically for herself. She has never  liked the idea of buying produce from markets because she doesn’t trust the kind of chemicals that might be in them. Rosario demonstrates the must affordable way to consumer organically, and that is to grow it yourself.
