Dr. Claire Wachter, Director
Dr. Claire Wachter has given solo, chamber and concerto performances in the U.S., Canada, Spain and Italy. She has presented recitals, lectures and master classes in Chile, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, China and Korea.
Wachter has held faculty positions at the University of Texas in Austin (collaborative piano) and the University of the Pacific in California (piano performance). Presently, she is a Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of Oregon. Her students have been prizewinners in local, regional and national competitions. Claire Wachter is a Steinway Artist.

Connie Mak, Administrative Assistant
Connie Mak is a student of Dr. Claire Wachter at the University of Oregon, where she is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and also serving as a Piano Pedagogy Graduate Teaching Fellow. Connie holds degrees from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and University of Kansas.
Connie is the winner of 2016/2017 MTNA Northwest Division Young Artist Piano Performance Competition, 2016/2017 Oregon MTNA Young Artist Piano Performance Competition, and 2015/2016 Oregon MTNA Young Artist Piano Performance Competition. She is the recipient of Eugene Kiwanis Club George P. Hopkins Piano Scholarship, Kansas City Musical Club Gladys Casford Memorial Scholarship for Piano, University of Kansas Zakoura Collaborative Piano Scholarship, and Lawrence Music Club Carl Adolph Preyer Scholarship. She has performed in masterclasses for artists such as Stephen Hough, Anton Nel, and Jon Nakamatsu.
