Meet the Duck and former NFL player who is the inspiration for (and producer of) the new CW network show, All American. The series is about the life of Spencer Paysinger, who played football for a posh Beverly Hills high school while living with his family in South Central. Spencer’s story about straddling two worlds is CW’s first ever series about race.
Spencer will be interviewed by a panel from UO’s Black Alumni Network about his experience as an athlete as well as his new position as a producer at Warner Brothers making a show about his own life story. Time permitting, Spencer will take questions from the audience and there will be an opportunity for photos and autographs.
