Close Up: During trainings the K9’s pratice searching; this maining includes runaway delinquents. The dogs are trained to run and bite whatever part of the body they can get to first. The more a person struggles to get away from the dog the harder it will bite, versus if the person stands still the dog will release them and sit and bark until the officer catches up.

Action Shot: During trainings the person playing the delinquent will wear a bite suit so that the K9’s teeth won’t hurt them, however, they can still leave trainings with a lot of bruises. Freddy can run up to 33mph and 24mph at impact with the runaway.

Detail Shot: Freddy is waiting for the officer to get into an interaction with the delinquent, so the officer can press a button that opens the door releasing Freddy from the car. He intently watches the officers every move, waiting incase of needed help.

Interaction Shot: After the training is over Freddy gets to play with his favorite toys. Positive reinforcement is a technique that is used so the K9 stays modivated to continue learning and working.
