Welcome to our new blog, Northwest Coast: Archaeology as Deep History.
Northwest Coast archaeology is a dynamic field and new research is constantly improving our collective knowledge. This blog is a place for University of Oregon students to publish their synopses of new research on the Northwest Coast, with a special emphasis of work published since 2012 (since publication of my textbook Northwest Coast: Archaeology as Deep History. I hope we are able to synthesize new work in a way that is interesting and accessible to the public.
