For most of Susan Hardy’s life, the focus has been children and families – something which held true whether it involved raising her own children were young, volunteering at their schools, or later in life when she obtained her teaching degree. Susan taught a parenting class at Lane Community College for 18 years and, until her retirement, worked in Oakridge as a Family Advocate for Head Start of Lane County. Head Start was where she learned about 90by30 and, after retiring, she began working with the initiative, first as a volunteer team member and then as the region’s coordinator.
