Nick was born in the Detroit, Michigan area and grew up in Traverse City. He was heavily involved with the scouting program, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 2013, and participated in various events across Michigan’s lower peninsula. After completing internships at El Instituto español de investigaciones psiquiátricas in Madrid and the Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, Nick graduated from Ferris State University in May 2019 with Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Spanish for the Professions.

Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Prevention Science at the University of Oregon after relocating to Eugene in September 2019. In addition to working with 90by30 and the Center for the Prevention of Abuse and Neglect, he also works with Project Write through the Center on Teaching and Learning.
