Bucknell’s English Department invites applications for an entry-level, tenure-track assistant professor in Film/Media Studies. This position will be part of the English Department’s Concentration in Film/Media Studies. The Concentration emphasizes traditional skills in film/media history, theory, and aesthetics while challenging students to produce new media work that reflects their learning.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a 3/2 load and a range of courses in his/her area of specialization as well as introductory courses and seminars. Bucknell seeks an outstanding faculty member with a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate research, student learning, diversity, and inclusive pedagogy. They invite applicants with a Ph.D., or a Masters who are ABD, with teaching experience, and publications.
