Shira Melul is the founder and director of Akiva On Campus here at the University of Oregon, along with her husband Rabbi Jack. With their organization only starting five years ago, Rabbi Jack and Shira have worked extremely hard to create a warm Jewish community for students, host many Jewish events and social gatherings, and have made it possible for students to travel to Israel.
