We are beginning with place name glyphs (or pictograms) from the Codex Mendoza or the Matrícula de Tributos (the latter is copied in the Codex Mendoza).  These glyphs are largely composites of elements that can be deconstructed an analyzed in themselves. Thus, we will provide here a sampling of the full glyphs (in alphabetic order), and on subordinate pages we will break down the elements by theme. (forthcoming)
