Sergeant Jared Davis has been working for the University of Oregon for eight years. He oversees officers, responds to calls and works with the community.
University of Oregon Police Sergeant Jared Davis, patrols campus on a Sunday evening. He provides a police presence to ensure the safety for all students on campus and is always available if students have any questions or concerns.
Sergeant Davis listens to his radio and scans the surrounding campus. He is always on alert for any suspicious or illegal activity.
Foot patrol is common for UOPD, it is a great way to be available for students. Sergeant Davis occasionally walks around the EMU because it is a central location on campus and there are usually students in this area.
Recently promoted, Sergeant Davis proudly wears his new Sergeant badge on his police uniform. As a Sergeant, he is responsible for managing UOPD Officers and Corporals, along with being ready to respond to calls dispatched to the department.
Sergeant Davis enjoys stopping into the Student Veterans Center on campus to show his support for our military. Student worker Michael, talks with Sergeant Davis about how some of the veterans are doing on campus. The Student Veterans Center is a great resource for the men and women who have served in our military.
