My name is Melissa Perrett, I am a third year University of Oregon student, and a first year student in the school of journalism. For my gateway assignment, I chose to focus on Child development, specifically in the frame of education. Through the process of obtaining my journalism degree, I hope to become a better writer, interviewer, and reporter.
