Person 1 –
The person I am observing appears to be a male in his late twenties or early thirties. I am assuming this to be his age because he seems fairly put together which is rare week 5 on Monday night in the library. I would guess he is Caucasian and I believe he is from Oregon because he is older and it is my own personal experience that older students tend to be from areas closer to Eugene. He is wearing a plaid shirt, black hoodie and black pants. He has facial hair and coffee, both of which also made me assume he was a bit older. He is wearing a hat even though it is nighttime and he is inside, perhaps he is balding. He is not using a Mac laptop, which is also rare among college students but not unheard of. Instead of the traditional two-strap backpack he chooses a one strap over the shoulder bag. I believe he is in for a long night at the library because he seems to be working intently on his computer and has a large 16oz hot beverage.
Person 2 –
This person also appears to me a male. He is wearing shoes that appear to me extremely worn in my opinion and his using a striped jacket as pillow to take what seems to be a quick study break. His feet are up and he is looking at his phone. I would guess he was maybe a sophomore because he appears a bit younger. He only has a few things with him which leads me to believe that he is not going to be at the library for long, or perhaps he was just killing time before his bus or ride arrived. He is wearing jeans and a white t-shirt with a surf logo. I believe he is on Facebook on his phone because that is what I would be doing, as would a majority of other students. I believe he is Caucasian, perhaps from California due to the surf logo on his shirt.
Person 3 –
This persona appears to be female. She is wearing a plaid button down and black leggings. She has a hot beverage as well, leading me to believe that week 5 is starting to get to people and midterms are definitely coming up. She has both a notebook and laptop out so maybe she has a test coming up and is reviewing both the lecture slides and her notes. The laptop she uses is a Mac. She seems to be around 20 with short hair and glasses. The haircut and glasses could make her look younger than she really is. I believe her backpack is not ideal for Oregon weather because it is cloth and does not appear to be waterproof. Despite that, I believe she is from Oregon due to her all around style. She is sitting on a curved couch rather than the free desk behind her which makes me believe that she chooses to study at the library for the atmosphere than need of a desk.
