The author states at the end of the introduction that, “if sufficient new and different authorizing assumptions are present, they may support cultural change” which to me, is an extremely interesting idea (Beverly 22). To me, this statement means that the introduction and circulation of a variety of authorizations encourages cultural change due to their influence. This would mean that “technical/scientific” things have great influence on the future of art (Beverly 28). I never thought about it in this way but it is very true. Without the technical/scientific side of things, there is a chance that changes that occurred in our culture, especially for artistic purposes, may have never happened.

I agree with you about no technology will change the world. However, I doubt about whether the world goes to good side or bad side. technology makes our lives better, but it also make people lazy and crazy. Machine represent our hands, but there is still some job cannot be represented by machine. Thinking, planning or suggesting, those computer cannot do or should not do. if AI can represent human, there will be no reason for we living in the world.
