About

In late 2017, the University of Oregon Libraries and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art received support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for the initiative “Leveraging GLAM Assets in Research, Teaching, and Learning: Faculty Fellowships to Advance Library-Museum Collaboration.” The purpose of this initiative is to foster library-museum collaboration by supporting faculty research projects that draw on the collections and expertise of both institutions.

This blog records the day-to-day life of this grant initiative from the perspective of Dr. Jenny R. Kreiger. Jenny is the Mellon Postdoctoral Scholar in Library-Museum Collaboration at the University of Oregon, and she manages both the grant initiative and the individual faculty research projects.
