Seminar 7: Branding Your Uniqueness

In the 7th seminar, Tayah was talking about how each leader has traits they value the most. In my perspective, I value my independence, personal growth and continuous learning, and ambition. Sadly, I did not get to finish the seminar because my group and I had to set up for the Open House in the suite. Although the Open House did not go as planned, it created an environment where the leaders can just relax and get to know one another a little better. It was nice to all be together in a more casual environment. Even though I was a little upset of the turnout for our Open House, it brought out the values in my that I admire the most: personal growth and continuous learning. In my perspective, I feel as if these two traits needed to be combined because I learn through growth. Trial and error something I am familiar with; although, I do not call it an error if I learn something from it. Since the Open House did not go as planned, I immediately thought of what we could have done too improve the turnout. Through trial and improvement, I learned that we could have more outings to talk to students. Through trial and error or personal growth and continuous learning, I tend to learn what works, not just for me, but for most people around me.
