QuackCon is a 36-hour student prototyping competition organized by the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship taking place October 14-16 at UO’s McArthur Court.  This type of event is in the middle of entrepreneurship.  There are over 250 students signed up for this from the U of O and other universities.

QuackCon is a sports technology-focused hackathon/make-a-thon which offers students (both undergraduates and graduates) the opportunity to collaborate with one another, in interdisciplinary teams, to ideate and develop physical prototypes wrapped around a business model. Students, from across the United States and from a diverse set of majors, will be creating ventures around the themes of athletic enhancement and fan engagement. Teams will benefit from working with experts in the sporting, technology and business industries throughout the weekend who will be serving as mentors to teams.
