Tinkering – New Paradigm in Education
This New York Times article, “Wood Shop Enters the Age of High-Tech”, brings up some interesting ideas around the exploration of tools and having a safe environment to pursue making. Makers and D.I.Y. communities get people creating, be it for fun, for art or for entrepreneurship. Campus Maker spaces are changing to make it possible for students to tinker.
