SCAD – Gulfstream Center
I recently was introduced to what looks like an amazing maker space, the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Gulfstream Center of Design.

It would be interesting to see how their shops spaces are organized and how students and faculty are granted access.
If you poke around a bit on their site, you will see that they have several very well equipped maker spaces in sculpture, jewelry, textiles, and others.
This looks like a standard shop at most universities. Wood and metal fabrication, mostly, some plastics, and maybe some digital fabrication units (3D printers, a robotic arm).
