Digital Makers Challenging Education

I know the article I’m referencing on BBC News is titled, “How 3D printing is changing the shape of lessons”, but that is a lousy title.

The article highlights one of the benefits that an open fabrication space is able to achieve, encourage exploration and inspire participation. This article introduced me to Amy Mather, an amazing young lady. At the age of 11 this young lady was inspired by technology and making at a community center and now at 14 is participating in shaping the direction of technology in education.
