Groundwork Organics is an organic farm located north of Eugene, along the Willamette river. The farm grows a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers; which can be purchased at the Eugene farmers market, farm stand, and their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
As of April 1, Groundwork Organics farm stand opens from nine to six p.m., Thursday through Sunday. They hold a variety of fresh organic produce, vegetables, condiments, and flowers. As you pull up to the farm stand, you’ll see the vibrant colors dancing on the tables.
Kelsey re-stocks the empty produce spot with their plump organic strawberries, meanwhile, a customer contemplates whether or not she’s going to buy red bell peppers.
Brett handles the checkout stand and tends to a Groundwork Organics customer and her question about the fresh cherries before her. Meanwhile, Kelsey re-stocks the popular golden raspberries.
Farmer Brett, sorts through cherry tomatoes that were just picked from Groundwork Organics garden. Once finished, he takes them out to the farm stand; which is through the door behind him.
Brett and Kelsey work together to check out the satisfied customers. Kelsey is also helping her customer decide whether or not she needs one or two cucumbers for the new recipe that she’s about to attempt.
