This year my for Thanksgiving, my family had it at our house with some family friends that we still call aunty and uncle even though we are not related out of respect. My parents started cooking dinner while me and my brother set the table for dinner. I helped make the yams while my mom made mashed potatoes and my dad made shrimp.
