Art of War MMA and Fitness is a gym designed for people of all ages that are interested in learning more about self-defense or just looking to get in shape.  Jason Georgianna, a former professional fighter and now owner of Art of War, does his best to create an open and inclusive learning environment where students can learn the correct way to safely better themselves.

 

Art of War MMA and Fitness offers weekly classes from a variety of martial arts that include mixed martial arts (MMA), muay thai, jiu-jitsu, boxing, and wrestling. Art of War also offers yoga and fitness classes, as well as personal/group training programs. Jason Georgianna and his group of instructors at Art of War are all experienced in what they specialize in and have the necessary capabilities to help a person get the results they are looking for.

 

Jason Georgianna is also one of the head instructors at Art of War MMA and Fitness. He teaches the MMA, jiu jitsu, fitness, and boxing courses while also providing some personal training to a variety of customers for various reasons whether they are looking to lose weight or just increase sports performance. Jason was a former professional Mixed Martial Artist himself before he turned to coaching and becoming a trainer after retiring from the ring.

 

With the assistance of another student, Jason is demonstrating the correct way to execute a move before letting the class try it with their partner. During Jason’s Boxing class, there are many drills that he will demonstrate before letting his students try them. He does this to provide them with a good example of what it should look like and to reinforce the proper technique students should be using when executing a move so that they limit the risk of injury.

 

Jason often walks around during drills to provide encouragement and insight to students who may be struggling. Whether he is trying to correct somebody’s form or push them to give more energy, Jason takes the time to ensure that his students are executing things correctly and safely. By doing this, he is able to interact with all of his students on an individual basis and give them specific feedback to help them improve.

 

Safety is one of the main concerns for Jason and his instructors at Art of War MMA and fitness. Because of that, he understands as a coach, what equipment to use, how far to push the limits, and how important it is for him to teach things correctly so that his fighters do not get injured. He uses his experience as an athlete when training people today by making use of the good coaching tips and techniques he acquired from various coaches over the years when he was a fighter.
