はじめまして。

Hi! My name is Madi and I am a third year linguistics major and Japanese minor. I have been taking Japanese since high school, and I’m very excited to be taking this class!

I’ve always found language and the social and other aspects of it to be very fascinating, and these interests led me to pursue a degree in linguistics! I also found a passion for learning language in high school and early college, and with Japanese being my first second language, I’m very passionate about learning more about it! That being said, I think this is the perfect class for me and I look forward to diving deeper into aspects of the Japanese language!

My hobbies include baking, hiking, playing video games, and listening to music! If you have any suggestions of Japanese indie groups feel free to send them my way!
