I grabbed this PDF yesterday, and it merges nicely with discussions and explorations we’ve been having here in AAD regarding the use of WPMU/ePortfolios as the basis for a dynamic and collaborative community of learners. While the white paper stems from Adobe’s vested interest in pushing the latest version of Acrobat as an ePort platform, the arguments presented in the document are more generalized and speak to the overall goals and efficacy of ePortfolios rather than specific tools. I recommend looking through it. I’ve linked to it below, or you can go here to register with Adobe and get it directly from them; registering enables you to get on their “education” newsletter mailing list in case you want to stay up to date on their efforts (and get more email!).
