I’ve been wondering how people create those super cool ‘word clouds’, and just figured it out: Wordle. Here is the link to the applications home page. Looks like you paste text (or steer toward a blog/site with an RSS feed), create your Wordle cloud, then take a screenshot of the image (or print to a PDF from your browser) for use however you’d like (the image is Creative Commons licensed, but the program/code is not). Here is an example of a Wordle I created from this blog’s feed:
Warning: Wordle didn’t work with my main browser (Flock) but did work with Safari. I didn’t try any others…
