About Me
My name is Jack Apman and I am a senior majoring in public relations at the University of Oregon. I’m hoping to graduate June 2015, although I still have to identify my area of interest within PR before that happens. Currently, I’m in charge of public relations for Student Mental Health Advocates (S.M.H.A), a student organization that works to promote positive mental health on campus. My work never ends as I do my best to balance writing news releases, managing three other students that make up the S.M.H.A PR team, and all of my regular course work. On the side, I enjoy running, lifting weights, camping, practicing photography, and listening to music. I love the ocean and feel completely comfortable battling big waves. You can find me bodyboarding the Washington coast without a wetsuit in the summer, which most people say is crazy. I just say it’s fun.
