The InTRO team had a number of “firsts” in October, including…
- Traveling to our first conference,
- Hosting our first on-campus event,
- and making an initial report of our office’s early findings to UO’s educational technology committee.
We also doubled our referrals in October–going from six projects open to twelve! As of this date, half of our referral projects are complete, and half remain in various states of activity. We’re actively investigating options for some, and some have been referred out to various service providers.
Several of our ongoing projects also saw progress in October. We’ve got an RT queue going and are now in the process of customizing its data collection fields. Our comparator research now has a well-defined structure, with guiding questions, definitive lists of comparator institutions, and a chosen starting point. We’re also continuing to collect service provider information for our web site, and have made some headway on design changes for our next rollout.
As we look ahead towards November, we see more opportunities for networking emerging, both on campus and off site, and we are refining InTRO’s brand and messaging. Stay tuned for more information on our efforts, and as always, if you’re a UO instructor who wants to integrate more technology into your teaching, connect with us! Remember,
Don’t know where to go? Make InTRO your first stop!
