New to teaching at UO? Sharpen your skills before the school year begins! The Teaching Effectiveness Program will be hosting a series of training events for UO instructors from September 15-26, 2014. These free workshops are a great opportunity to refresh or fine-tune your teaching practice prior to launching headlong into fall term.

There are dedicated sessions for GTFs leading discussion sections, GTFs becoming sole instructors, and new faculty. There are also several sections dedicated to basic technology usage in the classroom, including:

• Basic Teaching Skills (Online and Blended Course Design), September 23

and

• Using Technology in a Large Class, September 18
