In the Trenches: Security and Emergency Planning for Office Staff

This In the Trenches workshop will provide training and resources that address security and emergency planning specific to office staff. Topics will include communication strategies for handling potentially hostile students or faculty, natural disaster preparedness, and what to do if you know of a possible physical threat in or near your workplace.
Participants will be given strategies and resources that will aid them in developing and implementing an emergency preparedness plan appropriate for their space, staff, and work environment.
