• Consider gender, race, and ethnicity in relation to representation in art.
• Examine contemporary and historical cross-cultural examples of art.

Overview

A portfolio demonstrates all the work I have done through this whole Art and Human Class. My discussion group and I comment on eachother opinions and give eachother feed back and more comments on what we have done. My blog is only for my discussion group and my professor Scott Huette, because i feel that I am embarrassed with the way I write and express my self, since im not particularly good at it. Through out my blog, I attempted to write about the issues and subjects that was asked of my professor. Using readings, videos and films I critiqued and agreed with them and brought up different points of views. Bringing up different points of views allows my rest of the group to challenge and critique the issues. I have learned so much from this log it really had broaden my horizens with many different topics.

Through out the first part of this class, I have put my thoughts and comments in posts on each of the subjects as well as wrote papers on my own thoughts. Having to discuss within a group, it really makes me go back into the article and bring up other ideas. It makes me think and develop more about the certain area of subject. Everyone in my group have such a variety of opinions, its great to see and challenge one another. This portfolio will show my thoughts in all the different subjects and how I think and see the idea of art! Every week we posted one blog on the subject, a comment on another persons blog as well as awnsering a comment. We challenged one another many times bringing out and developing the knowledge as best as we could. My culture and my values, I think has spilled over into my thoughts and posts.

Organization: There is a table of contents for you to search the different artifacts from the first half of the term. If you click on the artifact it will navigate you the page. Each page has my original page as well has a reflection and a Future section.
