Reflection:
Before this discussion, I have never thought about whether food is art or not. However, after this discussion, I start thinking about is food art or not. From the Tefer’s article, she writes that food is basically not art. However, I think food is art. In long time ago, people eat food just for feeding themselves. However, nowadays, there are so many different kinds of restaurant, such as Chinese restaurant, French restaurant, Italian restaurant and etc. Some people can cook pretty delicious food, on the other hand, some people can’t. Furthermore, some people even draw on the food material. For example, some draw a map on an apple, and some make a shoe by using burger. I think this is interesting. Then I start to think, are some paintings in the museum really art? I saw a picture, which is basically drew by some basic elements, like three circle with different colors. Personally speaking, this kind of art is not art. three-year-old child could do that. Therefore, I have a question, and I think this question has been asked a thousand times, what is art?
Future:
After this discussion, I have started to cook. At the first time, I don’t need my food looks beautiful; I just wish my food is eatable to myself. Cooking food could not only save money, but also make my life colorful
