About Me
I am an undergraduate senior in the Geography department at the University of Oregon, focusing in Geographic Information Systems and Science. I plan to earn my master’s in Architecture starting in 2016.
Design is a big deal to me, and especially function over form.
I work for the Campus Operations Exterior GIS department, where I do GIS mapping and database design for campus utilities. I go to classes part time so that I can get more hours and experience at work.
As a hobby, I study video game design. I have made bits and pieces of several games and participate in local “game jams” quite a bit. I focus on 3D environment modeling. Currently, I am researching all of the methods to incorporate a complexity model into environment modeling.
As a complement to my modeling and artistic abilities, I’m learning programming with Treehouse and Codecademy.
Recently, I also took up glass sculpture. I also like drawing, painting, chalk pastel, and cooking.
