Heather Engellis

My name is Heather Engellis, I am a sophmore at the University of Oregon. Along with that, I am a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team. Journalism has been a way for me to express my creative side, I plan on focusing on public relations. Sports have been the base of my life from my early childhood into my adulthood. Sports have structured me into the person I am today, all the discipline, long hours, and strategic thinking I’ve inquired will help me reach the next chapter of my life. My goal is to work with Nike or ESPN after graduating. There I will be able to combine my passion for sports and my love for journalism together in hopes of creating a bright future for myself and others who share the same interests.
